Who can rent a salon suite at Phenix?
Our suites are ideal for licensed and non-licensed professional s across beauty, health, and wellness—including hairstylists, colorists, barbers, braiders/locticians, extension specialists, estheticians/skin, acne specialists, waxing & sugaring technicans, lash & brow artists (lifts, tints, laminations), microblading & permanent makeup artists (including scalp micropigmentation), makeup artists/MUAs, spray-tan techs, nail technicians, massage therapists/bodyworkers, reflexologists, Reiki/energy and acupuncture practitioners, nutrition & health coaches, chiropractors, and select med-spa services (e.g., cosmetic injectors) where permitted by state law.

Nope! Phenix offers flexible month-to-month agreements, so you can grow your business at your own pace without long-term commitments, providing you with the flexibility you need. (Pricing is fixed for one year)
Do I have to pay my own utilities?
All utilities (except your phone) are included!
Can I paint and customize the space however I want?
Yes! Not only do you have complete control over designing your space, and each salon suite comes with the equipment (whether you are a nail technician, hair stylist, or esthetician) to launch your business with minimal start-up costs.
How do I license my salon suite?
Good news: We handle the PA State Board salon/suite application and required documents on your behalf and we split the state application fee with you.
Are there restrictions on what services I can offer (waxing, barbering, nails, massage, tattoo)?
If you’re a licensed beauty or barber professional, you’ll need to operate in compliance with the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology or the State Board of Barber Examiners. Professionals outside of those boards may provide the health and beauty services permitted under any applicable licensing and local regulations.
